The Trust is the brainchild of the Noosa Community Environment Board. Members have worked closely over a number of years with Noosa Council on the vision of establishing an independent but highly accountable mechanism to enable members of the community to channel resources into the conservation and promotion of the Shire’s outstanding environmental values. Formation of the Trust recognises that almost everyone who comes to Noosa Shire to live does so because of the beauty of its natural environment and the special lifestyle that environment provides.
